Ever thought of pushing your business forward? Marketing and advertising to a new market far far away? I have, and we at
G & S St Andrews are!!!
We are off to Toronto next Sunday 22nd Feb, but even though this should have been a simple affair for us, the
WORK we have had to put in to it!!
I thought when I booked the stand then it would just be a case of book flights, hotel, and turn up, hehehe, I was wrong!!!
Dont get me wrong the preperation has been fun, but trying to keep a business running smoothly and donate time to the
show, has meant long and late hours on the laptop.
We have also enlisted the services of Donald Morton at
Golf Around Scotland, Gilles and Hamish at
St Andrews Golf Co. These companies are going to be on the stand with us (stand 1719), so that we have a more rounded package to offer all those golfers and non golfers who want to sample the delights of coming to Scotland in this, the
Homecoming year.
What is the Homecoming year?
Homecoming Scotland 2009 is an events programme celebrating Scotland's great contributions to the world. In 2009 join us to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth, Scottish contributions to golf & whisky, plus our great minds and innovations and rich culture and heritage.
What better reason for Scots and Scots decendants to come home and sample what Scotland has to offer, and visit the places that are part of your own history and make up.
So what are
we offering at the
Toronto Golf and Travel Show 2009? Well, we offer transport options. We offer you the chance to fully enjoy your vacation, play the fantastic
golf courses, see the scenery, visit
castles and
whisky distilleries without having to rely on public transport or renting a car. You just sit back and let us do the driving. No stress, no worries.
So to go back to where we are now, stand booked, flights booked, hotels booked (and what a hotel!!!!
Westin Castle)
Kilt bought and paid for, yes its cold in Toronto,
just now -7C, but the things we do to market the business.
So i am now off to grab a sandwich and a cup of tea, but i am so looking forward to that first coffee at
Tim Hortons when we get into
Pearson Airport!!
